Would I get P.O.S.T credit if I attend a class?

Yes, every MTA class will give you 32 hours of P.O.S.T credit 

How often does MTA host a class?

The Mountain Trackers Association hosts two classes a year. A spring class and a fall class 

How do I become an instructor?

Once you have completed both Basic and Advanced classes, you may apply to become an assistant instructor and your request will be reviewed and presented to the instructors for decisions. 

Are MTA classes available for CIVILIANS?

MTA classes are limited on a first-come-first-serve basis with first responders having priority due to limited available training slots. 

I have finished both Basic and advanced classes, What's next?

Students may apply in writing, requesting to be considered for the assistant instructor's training. 

What should I bring with me to the class?

The payment form asks for a password and I don't have it. what should I do?

After you register, you'll receive an email containing a password to make a payment.
